Blackout Tuesday was a collective action to protest racism, police brutality and was an opportunity to amplify black voices, support black business owners, etc. The action, which took place on June 2, 2020. Was originally organized within the music industry in response to the murders of George Floyd
Strategy:
9 of RMM’s Instagram Partners posted on June 2, 2020. Black screenshots were posted to raise awareness to George Floyd’s death and the BLK movement. Altogether, 9 of our partners generated a total estimated 13.8M impressions and a total like count of 1.2M likes.
